SmartEMS is a Web 2.0 software developed on the powerful frame work of Ruby on Rails. It is very secure, powerful and smart. You can use mobile app of SmartEMS in your Android or iPhone mobile devices. Some smart schools have integrated biometric attendance hardware with SmartEMS to record the attendance of students and teachers. SmartEMS is a web application, which means you can access and use your SmartEMS installation from anywhere around the world from any device which has an internet connection and browser.


It provides you with an easy interface to access all the features of SmartEMS depending upon the user's privileges, they will find links to the pages they can access, such as Timetable Student profiles Attendance register, etc.

Student Profile:
Teachers can view student profiles containing comprehensive records about their academic activities, attendance records and other information about them.

News Section:
The administrators can easily make announcements about the campus and all users can view these announcements. The most recent announcements are linked on the dashboard and users can view the complete announcement by clicking on the links. Users can even search old announcements to find those matching certain keywords.

Admission Management:
From the admission page you can enter the complete details of a new student and add him/her to the school's database. This step by step process allows you to enter the Student's details Parent’s information and Immediate contact information

Student Management:
An easy to use interface allows you to search for student records in the database and add or edit details about them. Formerstudents can also be searched from the database if required.

Record the attendance of students, and view reports based on these records. SmartEMS can be configured to automatically notify the student's guardians through SMS and email if the student is absent for a specified number of days.

Examination Management:
Here you can set up the schedules of examinations, enter the results of examinations, view the results and easily generate reports based on the available results. SmartEMS provides you with useful graphs that help you to better evaluate a student's academic performance.

Human Resource Management:
Here you can add your employees and maintain their attendance and pay roll system. Teachers can view their profile, payroll slips and can get reports based on their attendance and payroll.

Finance Management: Here you can set up the fee collection terms.

Finance Management:
Here you can set up the fee collection terms of students, can schedule the time lines for fee collection. You can keep record of all the assets and liabilities of your campus. Moreover it gives you the freedom to create any new type of transaction that you wish.

Use the intuitive drag and drop interface to set up class timetables easily. Students and teachers can view their respective timetables from this module.

Calender Management:
In calendar you can schedule meetings, events and to dos. Calendar will help you keep record of your activities and will notify the users about all the activities being scheduled as per their privileges.
